‘I walked with the Queer Morris Alliance at London Pride last year. As a photographer I am used to watching from behind the camera in the crowds surrounded by spectators. But this time I was inside the parade which was a nice change. It felt wonderful to be surrounded by the noise and the colours. I did not dance much because I was too busy taking pictures but being on the inside of the action felt good. The atmosphere was extremely positive, as always, and everyone was so happy to be there. I took so many photos of my Morris dancing team and others who walked in or watched the parade. I'm looking forward to doing it again this year!’
