Will Hartley was recently commissioned by Krishna Seth at Stella Magazine for an article about ‘How to winter proof your outdoor workout’.

Will captured images of Kate Bussmann, who is the Deputy Editor of Stella Magazine and an avid outdoor swimmer. They captured the images at the beautiful Brockley Lido and Will says they were particularly lucky with the weather, capturing these images just as the sun was setting and the sky was turning to dusk.

Will says he has always loved shooting images in water, but says he tends to avoid it in this country during the winter months because it’s too cold, however since shooting this he has been inspired by Kate to get used to the colder water an embrace swimming in winter!
