Another one of our fabulous ex Futures now on our permanent roster is Katrina Lawson Johnston. Katrina has been working with her local church brewery Hackney Church Brew Co to photograph the brewery, bar and restaurant. Looks like we will have to take a trip up there!

Hackney Church Brew Co is a brewery with a difference. The brewery has been running for around a year and not only produces delicious crafted beers, but it also gives some of its profits back to support the church's work with vulnerable people in the Hackney Community. In the long term, their plan is to start an apprenticeship scheme in the brewery for local people.

The images were shot to show off the stunning interior space of the Brewery (designed by Red Deer Architects) as well as customers. enjoying the delicious beers that are brewed on site and the fantastic food. The resident chef, Elliot Cunningham cooks everything on an open fire in the kitchen, which opens onto the garden at the back.  You'll find Elliot also has two gorgeous whippets with him at all times, and Katrina got quite distracted during the shoot! We don’t blame you!
