The bank holiday is officially over but the spirit of carnival lives on through Nick’s images of Tropical Isles, a charity based in East London, who works with children and young people to nurture creativity, develop talent and provide opportunities through carnival arts.

From elaborate costume design to music, dance and performance, they work year-round with young people, professional designers and choreographers, bringing their creativity to life on the carnival stage.

A proud participant in Notting Hill Carnival, Tropical Isles continues to celebrate Caribbean culture, creativity and community as we mark 60 years of Notting Hill Carnival.
