‘Some commissions carry a little more weight and responsibility than others, and photographing Lewis Moody for his TNT documentary was one of those commissions.

With an allocated 15 minutes in his garden, in a makeshift gazebo studio to protect us from the drizzle, we kept the goal simple - an authentic, genuine portrait reflecting Lewis’s strength and resolve. His youngest son Ethan stood in for lighting tests, and Lewis kindly gave us a little more time than we originally anticipated. 

The feature-length documentary follows Lewis and his family as they navigate life following his motor neurone disease diagnosis. Driven by the same determination that defined his sporting career, Lewis meets with experts to understand MND, and to advocate for what needs to be done to support those diagnosed in the future.’ Sam Riley
