Huge congratulations to our very own Nick David, who has been shortlisted as a finalist at the AOP 40th Annual Awards. Nick’s work has been recognised in two categories: Documentary for his striking portraits of horse riders, and Environment for a captivating street scene photographed in Morocco.

His horse rider series captures the powerful tradition of men on horseback along the Atlantic coastline near El Jadida — a breathtaking stretch of 100km of beach running from Bir Jdid to Oualidia. The portraits highlight both the riders and their deep connection to the dramatic landscape.

Meanwhile, his Morocco street photograph offers a vivid glimpse into everyday life, reflecting Nick’s eye for detail, atmosphere, and human presence in the world’s most vibrant settings.

We’re thrilled to see Nick’s work recognised at such a prestigious milestone year for the AOP Awards, celebrating 40 years of photographic excellence.
