ORLANDO GILI / GILES DEACON

Orlando Gili photographed the celebrated fashion designer Giles Deacon in his Dalston studio for Square Mile. Giles works side by side with his seamstress in a former industrial building, filled with natural light pouring through large cast iron windows. While setting up, Orlando was surprised to spot an old portrait he had taken of Judy Blame at London Fashion Week resting on a plan chest.
