TIM JOBLING / THIRST CRAFT / NAKED MALT

We recently collaborated with creative agency Thirst Craft on a bold new campaign for Naked Malt, captured by LPA photographer Tim Jobling and produced by LPA. This wasn’t your typical whisky shoot — instead of smoky rooms and somber tones, we leaned into Naked Malt’s vibrant personality, using a palette of bright, saturated colours that reflect the brand’s free-spirited energy.

A key challenge was keeping all talent unrecognisable for global usage. We approached casting with this in mind, focusing on cropped compositions and obscured features to capture mood and movement without revealing identity. To complete the look, we brought in a temporary tattoo artist, who designed and applied custom tattoos for every model — ensuring full creative control and avoiding any rights issues with real ink.

From styling to set design, every element was chosen to amplify the brand’s bold, expressive character. Tim Jobling’s photography brought this energy to life, blending editorial flair with a raw, unfiltered aesthetic that feels uniquely Naked Malt.

With LPA ensuring seamless production, the shoot delivered a fresh, vibrant take on whisky—one that breaks tradition and proudly stands out. It is a celebration of colour, creativity, and going against the grain—just like the whisky itself.
