Nick David travelled to Oakland, California alongside his film partner Jack Flynn to film a short documentary which celebrated the much-forgotten history of Black Western heritage in the U.S.A.

Over two days, the duo immersed themselves in the lives of cowboys and cowgirls at The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, capturing their stories with skilful interviews and captivating imagery.
