LPA Futures / Andy Pilsbury / Lockdown

Andy Pilsbury has been busy the last few months, creating a Photobook after being awarded the Grain Photobook Bursary, and adding to his portfolio with this personal project captured during lockdown.

Andy says that he was keen to use the time on lockdown as an opportunity to focus image making on his immediate surroundings, drawing on the characteristics and behaviour of light that filled the spaces.

He says this project is not something he would typically shoot in terms of content, but the restrictions of lockdown encouraged him to look and shoot with a fresh perspective.

Capturing images of little details around his house, or his girlfriend Laura working from home, Andy gives us a beautiful snapshot of what lockdown has been like for him.

Fantastic work Andy!
