If you purchased the Financial Time’s ‘How to spend it’ this weekend you might have spotted some amazing images by Katrina Lawson Johnston!

Katrina captured these beautiful images for ‘Spots of Time’ by Altana Europe, which are a series of tailor made trips created and led by wildlife guide and conservation expert Oliver Rampley.

The phrase ‘Spots of Time’ is taken from William Wordsworth’s ‘The Prelude’ and encapsulates the poet’s belief that time spent outside can have a profound effect on consciousness and wellbeing. The trips, will pair Oliver and guests with a different ‘co-host’ each time.

Katrina and journalist Ajesh Patalay joined Oliver and chefs and food writers Mark Hix, Gill Meller, Valentine Warner and Nikolaj Juel as well as wildlife artist Olly Williams, who will all be ‘co-hosts’ next year on the bespoke trips. Together the team headed to Devon to capture images of them cooking delicious meals on the beach, including scallops, served with garlic and chilli and cured trout, served on black treacle bread!

Katrina captured images of the whole trip, including the beautiful food and the gang gathering fresh ingredients from the natural surroundings!

Beautiful work, you can read the article in full here!
