LPA Photographers / Paul Tait / Rowers

Paul Tait has had a busy start to the year so far, shooting with lots of new clients and taking his portfolio out to meetings all over the country.

He has also been adding to his portfolio with various personal projects, one of which is this project captured on the Thames one very icy morning!

Paul got in touch with the rowing team in Wallingford and built up a relationship with them over time. He said he was keen to capture these images because he has always been fascinated by people who are able to get up and go out at the crack of dawn to take part in hobbies or sports. These images are part of a wider series of shoots Paul is organising.

Paul met the rowers just after sunrise when they were about to go out on the water. It was -8° and the Thames was frozen in places, but the images Paul captured are definitely worth braving the cold for!

We love the early morning light in these and the little moments Paul has managed to capture. Amazing work!
