It’s been non-stop awards for the LPA Photographers and LPA Futures at the moment, and Julian is the latest on our roster to win an award, in this case for his amazing ongoing project ‘The Europeans’.
‘London has been a global city for over 300 years, and today 1 in every 9 Londoners is a citizen of another EU country. As the UK prepares to leave the European Union, immigration is likely to be severely restricted and the future of those already here is now uncertain. Amidst all the noise about immigration figures, global trade deals and the infamous £350 million a week, I want to put a human face on what is happening.’
Julian won a silver award in the photography category. This year photography was judged by:
Rainer Usselmann – Owner/co-founder of Gradeworks, Happy Finish
Bart Pawlak – Executive Creative Director, GPY&R Sydney
Sheena Jeng – China Chair & Chief Creative officer, Publicis China
Danny Bird – Head of Photography, Tapestry
Jackie Holland – Head of Film and Photography, Mulberry
Julian’s image will feature in the Creativepool Annual, 7,500 copies of which are then put ‘in the hands of industry leaders at brands and agencies, big and small, around the world, exponentially increasing the reach of the winning work, campaigns, people, companies and agencies‘ as Creativepool says.
Well done Julian!
